The Profit Chart: This chart basically tells you where to find mobs and what they drop. This is an excellent addition that really helps to save time. I really like the fact that it shows the level range you need to get it done. Something similar should have been included in the main Gold Secrets guide. |

There are some key indicators that make an item valuable at any given time, and it’s detailed here. It’s a good addition but frankly I’ve seen better auction guides out there. |

Fishing Facts Manual: Now this is what you call a fishing guide. This is comprehensive stuff. It provides a clear explanation of what special number of skill points you need above your base skill points to really make things happen with fishing. It provides great lists and tables with a lot of important information that will drastically cut your learning curve. It’s also broken down by each faction; Horde and Alliance. In my opinion the best organized and detailed manual in the package. This cool addition makes Gold Secrets Guide even better. |

Twinking Profits: Nice little guide, only 6 pages but covers pretty much what you need to know to profit from twinks. It explains how the market works for twinks and then gives a great list of the most wanted twink items. Short but sweet. Full of very valuable info. Luke Brown's Gold Secrets Guide really adds value here. |
As you can probably tell by now, I LOVED Luke Brown's Gold Secrets!!! I had finally found the key to unlocking all my WoW dreams, a key that unlocked the door to the best items and that allowed me to replace that damn pony of a warhorse! So what kind of methods does Luke teach? Here are a couple of very valuable WOTLK tips from Gold Secrets:

Wrath of The Lich King - Mechano-Hog/Mekgineer Chopper = Profit:
Engineers will be able to create a BOE motorcycle mount that allows a passenger to ride with them! Now engineers usually complain about being unable to make gold, well I think this new mount will put an end to that. In order to make gold off of this though you will need some capital to work with because a lot of the materials are purchased off of vendors.
You must be level 450 Engineering and exalted with Horde Expedition or Alliance Vanguard in order to learn the schematic.
Here's a chart I made for you. The pricing of items are really just an educated guess at the moment, so don't hold me to it. the pricing of items from the vendor are confirmed. If you aren't an engineer you can farm for ore and eternals required to make Titansteel. If you are a sknner you can farm for Arctic Fur. This could be a niche for anyone who takes the effort to get Titansteel transmuted.

In order to to purchase the vendor bought items you MUST be an engineer with 450 skill and have already learned the Mechano-Hog/Mekgineer Chopper schematic. Engineers should check this vendor often for the exhaust pipe since that's th only one that is limited. I'm not sure how "limited" it is, but even if it only once every 4-8 hours, they could be selling for more than the vendor price.
EVERYONE is going to want this mount, so the demand will be through the -
Wrath of the Lich King - Titansteel Transmutations:
Miners will be able to transmute Titansteel Bars every 20 hours. This is a huge gold maker for miners willing to get the materials together. 12 Titansteel bars are needed to create the Mechano-Hog/Mekgineer Chopper motorcycle mount from engineering. As you can imagine these will be in very high demand because who in their right mind doesn't want to ride around on a 2-person motorcycle!!
This will probably be the first thing I farm for.
